From December to February Joey was in the Theater Works production of James and the Giant Peach. He had a great time and made a ton of new friends. I ushered two productions so I got to see it for free. I know that seeing a community theater production isn't always the cheapest thing, but when you do, it directly supports arts in the community. It gives children and adults the opportunity to express themselves and to develop their talents. It gives people and outlet for creativity and, mostly, it entertains. So check out productions around the Valley...we have some amazing talent in the Valley of the Sun! Support Local Theater!!!
Okay, off my soap box....here are some pics of an amazing production!!!
The director decided to give this classic story a steampunk feel...

One of the neatest things they used was shadow puppetry. They used it throughout the show. This is Joey's character arriving. |
